McDonald & Ross was contracted by BC Hydro for the Burrard Generating Station Access Road Repair and Maintenance Project. The project included: Mobilization to site; setting up traffic control measures, setting up environmental protection measures, locating and marking all foreign utilities; ditch cleanout (both new and existing) and blasting of rock where necessary, saw cutting of asphalt, supplying and installing 500mm culvert, removal of existing asphalt and hauling off-site, re-grading shoulder using import shouldering material, supply and installation of import aggregates to build up road structure, off-site disposal of excavated material, compaction testing, supply and installation of lower course, tack coat and upper course; supply and installation of permanent paint pavement markings, hydraulic seeding of site; removal of environmental protection measures, site cleanup and demobilization
