The Coquihalla River Crossing was an extremely environmentally sensitive river crossing. McDonald & Ross Const. Ltd. worked with Emil Anderson Construction Co. Ltd. as a joint venture project on this site. The job involved pipe bending and handling the use of heavy duty 16-30 Hydraulic Pipe Bender, Pneumatic Bending Mandrel, internal air clamp complete with reach rod and control ends and Lined Bending Set and Die. The river was diverted with the use of 4-48" flumes, aqua dams and extensive use of pumping systems and de-watering.
