McDonald & Ross Const. Ltd. was contracted by the Ministry of Environment - BC Parks for the Cultus Lake Campground and Day Use improvement Project.
The Project required work to be done at 4 sites including Maple Bay Campground, May Bay Day Use Area, Entrance Bay Campground and Green Point Day Use area.
The work included:
Cultus Lake – Maple Bay Campground
Removal of existing wood-base picnic tables (98), demolition and disposal of wood table bases (98) and concrete pads (106), storage of table and seat planks; Removal of existing concrete base picnic tables (8), and relocation to Entrance Bay Campground, storage of table and seat planks; Construction of new concrete table pads for all tables (106); Vegetation removal and re-gravelling of Campsites (90 single sites, 8 double sites), including removal and re-setting of fire rings; Assembly and installation of new tables (106) table and seat planks from existing tables; Finishing to grade.
Cultus Lake – Maple Bay Day-Use
Removal of existing wood-base picnic tables (25), demolition and disposal of wood table bases (25) and concrete pads (25), storage of table and seat planks; Construction of new concrete table pads (25); Assembly and installation of new tables (25) table and seat planks from existing tables]; Finishing and restore turf to grade.
Cultus Lake – Entrance Bay Campground
Removal of existing wood-base picnic tables (19), demolition and disposal of wood table bases (19) and concrete pads (19), storage of table and seat planks; Construction of new concrete table pads (19) to existing site grade; Assembly and installation of tables relocated from Maple Bay Campground (8) [table and seat planks salvaged from existing]; Assembly and installation of new tables (11) table and seat planks salvaged from existing]; Finishing to grade.
Sasquatch – Green Point Day-Use
Removal of existing wood-base picnic tables (46), demolition and disposal of wood table bases (46) and concrete pads (47), storage of table and seat planks; Construction of new concrete table pads (43);
