McDonald & Ross Const. Ltd. was contracted by FortisBC Energy Inc. for Pipe Support Install Work at Noon's Creek in Coquitlam, BC. The project included: building forms (11) at McDonald & Ross shop; mobilization to site; excavating below/above ground pipeline for footings and concrete for concrete pipe supports; installing forms on site; placement of rebar and tying on site; pouring concrete footings and pipeline supports; compaction testing; concrete testing; hauling spoil out and new material in; dewatering equipment on site; filling sandbags and placing on site as needed; installation of pads behind the 3 pigging barrels; installation of jersey barriers to protect the piping; stripping forms from footings and pedestals; grading site for gradient mat installation; back-filling holes/trenches and leveled; final grading - entire station with 3/4" clear crush; placement of no-posts on site; site remediation including raking out site and seeding; and demobilization
