McDonald & Ross Const. Ltd. was contracted by FortisBC Energy Inc.to replace a section of the existing 273mm transmission pressure (6068 kPa maximum operating pressure) pipeline in Oliver, BC. The project involved loading and transporting the line pipe and material to the project site; installation of the new 273mm replacement pipeline segment; abandonment, removal from the ground and proper disposal of abandoned 273mm pipe; working adjacent FortisBC for the tie-in of the new 273mm pipeline segment with existing pipeline and site restoration and clean-up.
