McDonald & Ross Const. Ltd. worked at the Oliver Y Station, in Oliver, BC fabricating and installing new Stations D & E on the Kingsvale Transmission Line. The work included excavation, backfilling, material preparation, fabrication and assembly as well as installation of steel pipe supports, hydro-static pressure testing, dewatering, wrapping and painting of all Station D & E pipes, valving and appurtenances and steel sensing lines. We installed all pressure, temperature and spare instrumentation taps as well as installed all piping purge points complete with shutoff valves.
