McDonald & Ross Const. Ltd. was contracted by FortisBC Energy Inc. for the Similkameen River Pipeline Crossing Mitigation Works Project in Hedley, BC.
The Project included the:
• clearing and grubbing of site as required, under the supervision of the Environmental Monitor`
• site isolation and dewatering
site preparation including installing temporary bridge
• pipeline inspection
• placement of bedding material surrounding pipeline
• placement of geotextile filter layer
• construction of riprap bed and banks
• construction of rock riprap berm.
• diversion of Similkameen River
This Project had to be completed in the `Fisheries Window
